Jack Barnwell
Jack Barnwell is a San Francisco Bay Area photojournalist, portrait photographer and freelance writer. He has photographed and written about local events and non-profits since 2003. He graduated from Chabot College in Hayward, CA with a Liberal Arts/Journalism degree. Jack is currently attending San Jose State University as a photojournalism major.
As a journalist and photographer, Jack enjoys the challenge of capturing every day life. An avid history junky, he views the work of journalism as the first draft of history that documents local and regional culture.
Jack writes primarily about photography and blogging topics for Suite101. Food and traveling also top his list of topics to write about, especially about food.
In addition to Suite101, Jack is the San Jose Neighborhood Photography Examiner for Examiner.com and occasionally writes for Demand Studios and his own blogs:
